extra sleep, brunch, and ink

...today...
the little wooden boy stays in bed for an extra hour, enjoying dreams and cigarettes...

...on his way to a nice brunch, he stops for some coffee and meets a giraffe...

...a good bloody mary is always on the menu...

...after several bloody 'marries', he feels like drumming in preparation for some new ink...

...on the way to the tattoo shop, he takes a moment to observe some street art, he is quite fond of graffiti...

...upon entering the shop, he meets a 'friendly' piranha... they chat about life, pain, and survival...

...he also chats with a majestic bird fellow... not many words are exchanged as the little wooden boy starts to get nervous...

...he gazes into the eyes of a foreign creature and wonders if it can read his thoughts...

...he decides on the imagery that is to be imprinted on his wooden skin...

...and as the set is prepared for the ink, he inspects the instruments to be used...

...a quick breather before the operation goes down, and he submerges into the bittersweet endorphin rush that the needle delivers...
