- walk about / art surprise -

...today...

the little wooden boy goes walk about.

he finds tunnels that lead to new places to discover.

on the other end...

he is greatly rewarded with some great sights. The little wooden boy stumbles upon an outside art gallery...

he asks himself what kind of creature this is...

on his stroll, he sees the markings of previous visitors...

by chance, the little wooden boy stumbles upon a secret exhibit...

he continues to travel along the mysterious yet captivating gallery...

so much to observe...

If it weren't for a wrong turn, he would have never seen these sights...

so many pieces, create the whole...

spring in the air

...today...

the little wooden boy starts off his day by putting down some words on paper...

he has a chat with his friend the weasel. They converse about freedom, as the weasel is frozen in time and cannot join the little wooden boy on todays adventure.

he arrives at a mountain of aluminum where he stops to think about the reality of the world and how consumption may very well be the end of humanity.

he takes a breather and enjoys the light shade on his face and the color that permeates from a bench...

...on the final stretch of todays journey, he finds a giant, a windmill. He recalls his favorite character from literature: the dreamer, the knight... El Quijote...

moves and relocation

...today...

the little wooden boy awakes in his new surroundings with a bright light shining against his back...

he takes a moment to ponder the nature of his wooden existence...

fuzzy memories of a lady in a hat...

looking for artistic guidance, he has a chat with Andy...

making friends of every kind, he comes across a cat ...

he is told there is an elephant who can grant him a wish and good luck...

in a strange land of metallic walls, he looks over the horizon and soaks in his new habitat...

through his meditative state, he recalls that music is always there as a true form of release...
so he picks up a guitar.

beer, candles, and beats

...today...

the little wooden boy ponders the duality of things...

after such an exhausting mental exercise, he poses for the camera with much gusto...

a bite to eat? Rangoons...

once full, he approaches a rhythm composer and starts to work on some head bopping beats...

after the long recording session, he takes time to relax; beer and cigarette in hand.

The Question Concerning Technology

...today...

Le Petite Garçon meets a strange creature... a ROBOT!?
A philosophical dialect develops. Questions of Being, existence, and technology arise. The ROBOT refers the little wooden boy to Martin... Martin Heidegger:

"In The Question Concerning Technology, Heidegger sustains an inquiry of being, but turns to the particular phenomenon of technology, seeking to derive the essence of technology and humanity’s role of being with it."

In turn, the question concerning technology makes the little wooden boy a bit confused, he contemplates his own questions in regards to a wooden existence.

extra sleep, brunch, and ink

...today...
the little wooden boy stays in bed for an extra hour, enjoying dreams and cigarettes...

...on his way to a nice brunch, he stops for some coffee and meets a giraffe...

...a good bloody mary is always on the menu...

...after several bloody 'marries', he feels like drumming in preparation for some new ink...

...on the way to the tattoo shop, he takes a moment to observe some street art, he is quite fond of graffiti...

...upon entering the shop, he meets a 'friendly' piranha... they chat about life, pain, and survival...

...he also chats with a majestic bird fellow... not many words are exchanged as the little wooden boy starts to get nervous...

...he gazes into the eyes of a foreign creature and wonders if it can read his thoughts...

...he decides on the imagery that is to be imprinted on his wooden skin...

...and as the set is prepared for the ink, he inspects the instruments to be used...

...a quick breather before the operation goes down, and he submerges into the bittersweet endorphin rush that the needle delivers...

in morning mourning

...today...the little wooden boy starts off his day with a bottle of whiskey as he is sad and in mourning for the passing of Trish Keenan...

...he meets with Buddha in search for guidance and wisdom...

...his first encounter with mortality; a blood puddle makes him feel different, as he does not contain this life substance, yet... he is real...

...he turns to his muse for inspiration...

...inspired - yet confused, he turns to his instruments to compose a grand opus...

...and in doing so, he pays homage to his homeland and history, to the living and deceased, to what has gone and what remains...ultimately giving thanks for the sunrise; for a new day is full of possibilities...

the occult and other thoughts

...today... the little wooden boy starts his day off with a warm and strong cup of espresso, accompanied by his trusty cigarette...

...after yesterdays meeting and chat with Picasso, Le Petite Garçon takes time to really look at art. He thinks about his conversation with Pablo and analyzes the work, really looking at technique and methods of application...

...he then proceeds to plan his method of attack on a large piece of blank canvas...

...after working meticulously on his new piece, he has a chat with a fellow creature and questions the geometry of the world...

...he then has his first contact with the world of the occult, as he is seeking answers to millions of questions..

...then, he ponders about the mystery, complexities, and wonderfulness of women...

...and before its time for a good night's rest, he pays respect to his elders and requests their help and guidance on his quixotic adventures...
